About Prakash

Prakash is well known within energy circles as likeable, incredibly talented and the man to have on your team when delivering energy services and conservation projects.  He has a Masters degree in Energy Technology and is also a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), who has 15 years implementation experience of energy performance contract in India, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Prakash started his career in India with SECO controls as an energy engineer where he learnt and applied energy audit skills in various sectors. He was associated with large HVAC companies, including Johnson Controls, for the implementation of EPC projects under the Clinton Climate Initiatives and Zamil KSA, where he was involved in commissioning and operating a large district cooling plant under energy performance contract, which was the first of its kind in the region. He started his career in Dubai almost a decade ago with Smart4power as chief energy efficiency engineer, where he learned about the region’s challenges and applied his skills to execute many projects in UAE and KSA and become one of the most renowned experts in the region. More recently he worked as senior solutions architect in Honeywell for their Middle East energy division where he was part of the team to secure the region’s largest energy retrofit projects.

Prakash has versatile experience in different levels of energy audits, energy retrofit implementation, HVAC system troubleshooting and green building concepts.  He has been engaged in more than 20 major projects implemented in India, Saudi Arabia & UAE to achieve energy and water savings under energy performance contracts worth more than 250million AED, and approximately 500 million AED in energy and water savings for his clients.
